Peter Wolters

The company Peter Wolters Ltd in Hinckley, UK contacted us with an interesting problem in that they had a dangerous situation in a machine shop with splashes of mineral oil onto an existing lino-type flooring.

The Client

When the existing floor was wet with even a small amount of oil it was highly dangerous. They had tried several different options including rubber matting, rubber mat grids, plastic grids and even cardboard.

After degreasing the floor we abraded it and applied several coats of a special chemical resistant floor coating together with a very coarse grade of anti-slip aggregate. The work was completed over a long weekend and the floor returned to normal, and much safer, use.

Peter Wolters UK Ltd carry out high precision polishing and grinding of metal and plastic components used in industry.

Wherever you are in the world, whatever the problem,
we have the expertise to help.
