Scout Shops, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Scout Association, contacted us to provide a new floor coating for their large warehouse and packing areas.

Scout Shops are the leading online supplier of Scouting Uniforms, scarves, woggles, flags & badges, along with Scouting, outdoors and camping equipment, clothing and publications.

To minimise disruption to the business, all coating works needed to be completed over five separate weekend site visits to guarantee the newly coated areas could be returned to active service on Monday morning.
After discussing the various systems that we were able to offer, Scout Shops decided upon a solvent-free, self-smoothing resin system in a light grey colour. An additional benefit of this colour was to brighten up the floors between the isles and to make the existing lighting more effective
During each site visit, we removed the old, patchy coating, applied the new floor coating and re-instated the demarcation lines in their original position.
